The house system is our way of bringing a classical model of mentorship and leadership development into our upper school. Houses have faculty advisors and numerous opportunities to lead with real world results and consequences.
Lead
Mentorship is the main goal of the House system, from kindergarten to grade 12, the end goal is to develop leaders.
Cultivate
HCA houses will all develop individual identities which support the greater Kingdom mission of the Academy. Their internal focus is to establish a fun, safe, and enriching culture to complement our academic rigor.
Serve
HCA houses will have an external focus on how we can impact the world outside of HCA. Each house will create projects to benefit and reflect Christ to the world.
Compete
Fun, competitive activities will be designed and implemented throughout the year to develop camaraderie and team first thinking. Students will develop the attitude of gratitude and learn to go the extra mile for the house to succeed.
